Position: Residential HVAC Service Technician
Pay: $24.00-$33.00 per hour commission Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with occasional overtime
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and controls
- Perform routine maintenance and system inspections to optimize performance and efficiency
- Replace faulty components and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Provide clear, professional communication with customers regarding system issues and solutions
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation after each job
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and tools
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and quality work
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of residential HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including electrical troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Dependable team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- NATE Certification, a plus
- OSHA or other safety certifications, a plus
