Job Overview
Comfort Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Carpenters for work in the Rochester, NY area. We’re looking for dependable, skilled tradespeople with at least 1-2 years of hands-on carpentry experience who can work safely and efficiently in a professional construction environment.
Ideal candidates are comfortable using standard hand and power tools, reading measurements, and completing a variety of carpentry tasks with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform general rough and finish carpentry work
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials
- Frame walls, doors, openings, and other structural components
- Install trim, molding, doors, hardware, and other finished materials as needed
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Read measurements, layouts, and basic construction plans
- Perform demolition, repairs, and remodeling work when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures
- Work effectively with supervisors and other trades on site
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of carpentry experience
- Experience with rough and/or finish carpentry
- Strong measuring and basic construction math skills
- Comfortable operating common carpentry hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Dependable transportation to jobsites in the Rochester area
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods
- Safety-minded and able to follow jobsite procedures
