Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Partners to provide exceptional support and assistance to residents in a long-term care or community setting. We currently have part time positions open for day and swing- if full time is desired there will be the opportunity to pick up shifts or work part of the week day and part of the week swing. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, assisted living, or home & community care, and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs- but we do train on site. This role involves working closely with residents, supporting their daily activities, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and observe changes in residents’ health status
- Support residents’ social engagement through companionship and recreational activities
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas to promote hygiene and safety
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Prior experience in senior care, nursing homes, assisted living, or home & community care preferred but not required
- Knowledge of ADLs assistance, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care
- Certification or training in first aid is advantageous
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must demonstrate reliability, patience, and excellent communication skills
