Compensation
- Wage Range Starting at: $28.00 /hr. based on qualifications & experience
- Provide information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters
- Process weekly payroll, including calculating hours, overtime, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions
- Issue paychecks and manage direct deposits for employees
- Maintaining employee records
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies by reviewing past records and making necessary adjustments
- Evaluate the accuracy of weekly timesheets submitted by each division and contact supervisors or individual employees when there is a discrepancy
- Collaborate with HR to keep employee data up to date
- Assisting the accounting department with administrative tasks and financial reporting
- Experience: 2 years of payroll processing experience, preferably with high headcounts (400 employees)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software
- Preferred: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
- Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude
- Complies and promotes company Safety Policy
- Ability to handle high work volume with minimal errors and supervision
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employee and financial records
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass full background check and drug screening
