The Job – Hands-On & Varied Every Day
As our Maintenance Technician (sometimes called “Engineer”), you’ll be the hero who keeps everything working and looking great:
- Perform preventive maintenance on guest suites & public areas (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, locks, TVs, etc.)
- Complete guest suite work orders quickly and professionally
- Maintain indoor heated pool & spa (chemical balancing, cleaning, equipment)
- Minor drywall repair, painting, caulking, tile/grout work
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen & laundry equipment
- Exterior duties: parking lot lights, signage, landscaping touch-ups, and any weather-related needs
- Assist with breakfast setup and public-area cleanliness when time allows
- Respond to urgent guest or safety issues 24/7 (on-call rotation with extra pay)
What You Bring
- 2 years of hotel, apartment, or commercial building maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification a big plus
- Reliable transportation & clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work on ladders
- Flexible schedule – primarily days, but must be available for occasional evenings/weekends and on-call rotation
- Positive attitude and pride in your work
