We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our 138-room property, ensuring top-tier guest experiences, team leadership, and financial success.
Job Summary:
As the General Manager, you will be the heart of the hotel’s operations. You’ll oversee all departments, lead a team dedicated to excellence, ensure brand standards are met, and drive revenue and guest satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage
Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff; foster a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing concerns and maintaining high guest
satisfaction scores.
Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
Maintain brand standards and uphold Comfort Suites’ and the Wisco Hotel Group's
values in all operations.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance.
Develop and implement strategies to drive occupancy, RevPAR, and overall revenue.
Build strong community relationships and maintain good standing with Choice Hotels corporate.
Conduct sales meetings and department head meetings regularly
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of hotel management experience; prior experience with Choice
Hotel brands are a plus.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of financial and operational performance.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Proficient with property management systems (PMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and
reporting tools.
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or
related field preferred.
