Hospitality General Manager

Job Title: General Manager – Comfort Suites Milwaukee Airport / Oak Creek

Location: Oak Creek, WI

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our 138-room property, ensuring top-tier guest experiences, team leadership, and financial success.

Job Summary:

As the General Manager, you will be the heart of the hotel’s operations. You’ll oversee all departments, lead a team dedicated to excellence, ensure brand standards are met, and drive revenue and guest satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:

 Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage

 Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff; foster a positive and productive work environment.

 Ensure exceptional guest service by addressing concerns and maintaining high guest

satisfaction scores.

 Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.

 Maintain brand standards and uphold Comfort Suites’ and the Wisco Hotel Group's

values in all operations.

 Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance.

 Develop and implement strategies to drive occupancy, RevPAR, and overall revenue.

 Build strong community relationships and maintain good standing with Choice Hotels corporate.

 Conduct sales meetings and department head meetings regularly

Qualifications:

 Minimum of 3 years of hotel management experience; prior experience with Choice

Hotel brands are a plus.

 Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

 Proven track record of financial and operational performance.

 Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

 Proficient with property management systems (PMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and

reporting tools.

 High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or

related field preferred.
