Duties
- Prepare and present breakfast offerings, including hot and cold items, with precision and flair.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic food preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met.
- Serve guests in person with friendly, attentive service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while managing weight handling in the workplace.
- Support catering or banquet events by setting up stations and assisting with food service as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures is essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy trays or supplies safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management are required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on in-person interaction and positive communication.
- Experience with POS systems for processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to catering, banquet service, or general restaurant experience is advantageous.
