Summary
As the Front Desk Manager at Palestine Comfort Suites, you will oversee daily front desk operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. This hands-on role broadly encompasses the guest service agent, front desk, accounting/finance, marketing support, brand, revenue management, sales & marketing management. This role is vital in maintaining our commitment to quality service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Guest Service Agent: Hiring, New Hire Paperwork, Front Desk Schedule, Training & Development, Coverage/Call Ins, Choice University Training Timeline.
- Front Desk: Operations Manual (Policies & Procedures), Computer Systems & Software, Front Desk Cleaning Log, Lost & Found.
- Accounting/Finance: Cash Handling Report, Dollars on the Net (Shift4), Account Balance Report, Hotel Journal Summary, Hotel Journal Detail, Final Transaction Closeout, Rate Discrepancy Report, Direct Bill, Accounts Receivable, CLC, Travel Agency Commission, Booking.com and Expedia, Debit Card Purchases Report.
- Marketing Support: Choice & Property Marketing/Promotions, Choice Digital Performance, Smart Marketing.
- Brand: Guest Relations/Comments/Resolution, Reputation Management, Guest Satisfaction/LTR (Likely To Recommend), Standards & Performance, Reimaging, Quality Assurance Review (QAR), Uniform Order, Hotel Supplies.
- Revenue Management: Act as overall business development consultant - Identify new revenue opportunities, including RFPs. Perform revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel with the assistance of the RM. Set rates, forecast future revenue, rate positioning, market area analysis via ChoiceMax & Rates Center. Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting. Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc.) points. Perform competitive benchmark analysis and follow market trends (STR Reports). Responsible for assessing, analyzing and pricing group business strategies. Create and maintain a 13-month rolling (groups) demand calendar (past & future). Optimize, expand, and manage (oversee strategy) for all 3rd party distribution partnerships. Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and trending with recommendations to improve mid-range strategies – Choice Advantage Accounting and Marketing Reports. Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc.). Reduce the cost of distribution by finding new less expensive means of delivering business. Inspire GSA team to further embed a revenue management culture.
- Sales & Marketing Management: Revenue Target, Group Sales, Transient Sales, Company Profiles, Sales Leads & Outside Sales, Marketing Plan, Advertising, Public Relations.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
