Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Front Desk Associate / Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Multilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests promptly, including room changes, special accommodations, and inquiries.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold phone etiquette standards at all times.
- Assist with night audit procedures when required, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and handle billing inquiries accurately.
- Uphold guest relations by delivering personalized service to enhance overall experience.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
- Hospitality management or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality certifications are a plus.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
