About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Front Desk Manager to lead our front office operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a dedicated leader who is willing and able to cover front desk shifts as needed, especially during peak times, call-offs, or staffing shortages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Train, coach, and schedule front desk staff to deliver outstanding guest service
- Step in to cover front desk shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor and manage guest satisfaction scores and operational metrics
- Maintain compliance with brand standards and hotel procedures
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Supervisor or Manager in a hotel environment
- Proven ability to lead a team and maintain high service standards
- Flexible and reliable — must be available to work any shift as needed
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ, etc.) preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality degree a plus
