Hotel Maintenance staff Needed

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Staff member to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the building’s interior and exterior, troubleshooting and repairing various systems, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff alike. Your expertise will help uphold our high standards of facility excellence, safety, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, plumbing, PTAC units, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
• Repair and troubleshoot electrical equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and mechanical devices using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Conduct facilities equipment maintenance including carpentry, painting, and general repairs to uphold the property’s appearance and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections; interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively.
• Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership in facilities upkeep.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or staff repair requests and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC repair, and building interior maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, electrical equipment repair, welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and plumbing system maintenance.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools required for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
• communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and assist guests or staff as needed.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship in all tasks performed.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
