Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a warm, friendly breakfast experience for our guests by preparing, serving, and maintaining the breakfast area. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest starts their day on a positive note.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet or service area, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked
- Prepare food items according to safety standards and quality guidelines, including light food preparation when needed
- Serve guests with a friendly attitude, assisting with inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Keep the breakfast area clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift
- Monitor food safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of food items
- Replenish supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, and beverages as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy breakfast hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or cleaning
- Experience in catering or as a dietary aide is advantageous
- Barista experience or restaurant experience can be beneficial in this role
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
