Guest Room Attendant / Housekeeping Professional Duties
- Maintain Brand Standards: Execute comprehensive room sanitation and cleaning procedures in strict accordance with Choice Hotels corporate guidelines.
- Linen Management: Efficiently strip, replace, and properly stock all bed linens and towels.
- Restroom Hygiene: Thoroughly sanitize and clean all guest room restrooms to ensure the highest standards of hygiene.
- Surface Care: Systematically dust and wipe down all room surfaces, including, but not limited to, windows, decorative items (pictures/mirrors), electronics, appliances, and furniture.
- Floor Maintenance: Perform all necessary floor care, including vacuuming and mopping.
- Amenity Replenishment: Ensure the complete and accurate replenishment of all in-room amenities, setting up the room to company standards.
- Workstation Management: Clean and maintain a personal workstation, ensuring it is properly stocked with necessary supplies (linens, towels, amenities, etc.).
- Guest Service & Follow-up: Promptly and professionally respond to and follow up on all guest requests to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
- Professional Representation: Positively represent and promote the property brand and service standards at all times.
- Safety & Security Compliance: Implement and adhere to established systems and procedures designed to ensure optimal guest safety and security.
- Documentation: Accurately complete the daily housekeeping report.
- Communication & Room Status: Communicate room readiness (for new customer check-in) to the Executive Housekeeper or Front Desk staff in a timely manner.
- Issue Reporting: Immediately report any observed maintenance, security, or safety concerns to the appropriate departmental staff for swift resolution.
