Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with established protocols
- Handle laundry services, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure floors are properly cared for through sweeping, mopping, or specialized floor care techniques
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning, custodial tasks, and janitorial procedures
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisory staff
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards consistently
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
- Prior experience in custodial management or housekeeping supervision is advantageous but not required
