Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, hospitality, and industrial settings. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained according to health and safety standards.
• Manage housekeeping supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, and polishing as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms or common areas in hotels or hospitality settings.
• Follow established housekeeping procedures and protocols for efficient workflow.
• Provide exceptional service to guests by responding promptly to requests for additional supplies or assistance.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is essential.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping management practices in various settings such as hotels or industrial cleaning environments.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
