Comfort Suites in Grand Prairie is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service during overnight hours while completing the daily accounting and reporting functions that prepare the hotel for the next business day.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service throughout the overnight shift.
- Complete the nightly audit and balance all hotel accounts.
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare daily reports for management.
- Answer phones and respond to guest requests promptly.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues whenever possible.
- Monitor hotel security and conduct routine property walks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk.
- Assist with light housekeeping or laundry tasks when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or Night Audit experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with ChoiceADVANTAGE or similar Property Management Systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hotel software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
