Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Manage laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, or polishing to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas to ensure availability of essentials like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage while handling cleaning chemicals or equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold the quality of the environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and laundry machinery enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
