Job Summary:
The HR Generalist at Comfort Squad Homecare Agency plays a vital role in ensuring smooth human resources operations to support our mission of delivering exceptional homecare services. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and administrative functions while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure a seamless introduction for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, addressing issues professionally and confidentially.
  • Promote a positive work environment by facilitating effective communication between management and staff.
  • Compliance & Recordkeeping:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including background checks, OIG verification, and other required documentation.
  • Performance Management:
  • Support managers with performance reviews, coaching, and development plans.
  • Address performance issues and provide guidance on corrective actions.
  • HR Policies & Procedures:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Educate employees on policies, benefits, and available resources.
  • Benefits Administration:
  • Coordinate employee benefits programs, including enrollment, updates, and employee inquiries.
  • Training & Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Other Duties as Assigned:
  • Support special projects and initiatives to enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the healthcare or homecare industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
