Part-Time Financial Controller

We are seeking a part-time Financial Controller with direct experience in construction accounting. This role requires strong skills in QuickBooks and a proven background managing financials for a construction or contracting business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements
• Track budgets, project costs, and job profitability
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices
• Support leadership with financial forecasting and decision-making
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accountant, or similar role
• Construction industry experience required
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and construction accounting practices
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with management and project teams

Compensation and Schedule

• $25.00 – $30.00 per hour based on experience
• Part-time position with flexible scheduling
• Approximately 15–25 hours per week
