Commercial Service Technician III Job Overview

The Service Technician III is a highly skilled professional with EPA certification and over 5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair. This role involves independently maintaining and servicing commercial-grade HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a wide range of HVAC equipment, including 1-ton mini splits to 50-ton package units, boilers, chillers, control valves, heat exchangers, and evaporative coolers.
• Diagnose, analyze, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations using blueprints, engineering specifications, cutting-edge software, and various hand tools.
• Ensure accurate documentation by completing paperwork and maintaining detailed records before leaving job sites.
• Collaborate with account salespersons to identify and discuss service opportunities to expand business.
• Uphold the highest safety standards, maintaining security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
• Demonstrate flexibility by participating in overtime, on-call rotations, and weekend work, including occasional overnight stays, as business needs require.
  
  

Qualifications

• EPA certification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
• Ability to independently service and maintain commercial HVAC equipment, including unitary products up to 50-ton package units, boilers, chillers (including retrofitting), control valves, and heat exchangers.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift 30 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
