What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobility Equipment Delivery Driver (Part-Time) position at Comfort Mobility & Medical Supplies?
Deliver More Than Equipment
Every delivery helps someone regain a little more independence.
One customer may be recovering from surgery. Another may be receiving a wheelchair that allows them to safely leave their home again. Others may simply need a little extra help getting around.
As a Mobility Equipment Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of Comfort Mobility. You will be delivering equipment, helping customers get set up, and making sure they feel comfortable and confident before you leave.
If you enjoy driving, working independently, staying active, and helping people, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Deliver mobility equipment to homes, assisted living communities, healthcare facilities, hotels, and other customer locations
- Safely load, transport, unload, and set up mobility equipment
- Show customers the basic operation and care of their equipment
- Provide friendly, professional customer service during every delivery
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and ready for the next job
- Occasionally assist with equipment assembly, cleaning, organization, inventory, and other light shop tasks as business needs require

- Enjoys meeting new people and helping others

- Is interested in learning new skills and growing with a small business
What Makes This Job Different
This isn't package delivery.
You'll have time to interact with customers, answer basic questions, and help them feel comfortable using their equipment.
You'll often be the only Comfort Mobility team member a customer meets in person, so your professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail make a lasting impression.
For team members who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a willingness to learn, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities—including equipment assembly, installation support, and other technical work.
