Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans
• Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent mental health situations effectively and ensure client safety
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices including motivational interviewing, behavioral management, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, and gender issues counseling
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, patient assessment, and clinical research initiatives to optimize care outcomes
• Provide telehealth services to expand access to mental health support for remote or underserved populations

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field from an accredited institution
• Valid licensure or certification relevant to clinical counseling or psychotherapy in the practicing state or region
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental disabilities
• Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnosis documentation
• Experience with crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Proficiency in delivering services via telehealth platforms with excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations involving trauma or grief with empathy and professionalism
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to behavioral health treatments is a plus
