Position Overview
The Registered Nurse will provide assessments, oversight, training, and support for residents and direct care staff. This position plays a key role in ensuring residents receive high-quality services and that all care is documented accurately and in compliance with program requirements.
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and reassessments
- Develop and update individualized service plans and care plans
- Monitor resident health status, follow up on changes, and document accordingly
- Complete nurse delegation tasks and oversee unlicensed staff
- Review medication records and ensure proper administration and documentation
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance with DHS and facility standards
- Provide training, support, and direction to staff
- Communicate with families, facility leadership, and medical providers as needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in Minnesota (required)
- Previous experience in Assisted Living, Customized Living, Group Home, Skilled Nursing, Home Care, or HCBS preferred
- Knowledge of service planning and clinical documentation requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet timelines
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time contract hours; average 1–3 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling based on resident needs
- Compensation based on experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
