Full-Time Caregiver - Weatherford, Texas

Comfort Keepers is seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide personalized, one-on-one support to a senior client in the Weatherford area.

The caregiver will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help the client maintain comfort, safety, and independence at home. Care will be provided according to the client's individual needs and established Plan of Care.

Pay and Benefits

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and CNA certification.
• Additional $1.50 per hour for eligible weekend shifts.
• Paid orientation and training.

Qualifications

• At least one year of professional senior caregiving experience in an agency, facility, or private-duty setting.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to safely perform essential physical duties, including lifting up to 25 pounds when necessary.
• Dementia care experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a home with small dogs.
• Dependable, professional, and attentive to client needs.
Able to communicate reliably by phone, text, or email regarding scheduling and client care updates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Support personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and encourage meaningful social interaction.
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the Plan of Care.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Provide transportation to appointments and assist with errands when needed.
• Encourage independence while respecting the client's comfort and dignity.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or care needs.
• Follow the established Plan of Care and company procedures.
• Communicate relevant care updates and concerns to the office team.
Assist family members with appropriate caregiving guidance when requested and within the scope of the role.
