$16-$16.50 hourly depending on experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential assistance and support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, personal care, and ensuring the overall well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized in-home care services based on individual needs and care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote a positive and caring environment
Skills:
- Experience in medical-surgical or emergency medicine settings
- Familiarity with caring for geriatric patients
- Ability to work in outpatient clinics or inpatient facilities
- Knowledge of providing care in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers
- Comfortable working in a teaching hospital environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving is a plus
- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others
