Job Description:

• Provide Personal and Companion Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulation, and medication reminders, while offering companionship and emotional support. Transporting clients as needed.
• Support Nutrition and Household Needs: Prepare meals, complete grocery shopping, clean kitchens, and perform light housekeeping tasks like laundry and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Assist with Mobility and Errands: Help clients with transfers, accompany them to appointments or outings, and assist with phone calls, letter writing, or community activities.
• Monitor and Report Changes: Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or environment to the supervisor, and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Maintain Professional Standards: Follow care plans, attend required training, maintain vehicle insurance and TB clearance, and ensure confidentiality and safety compliance.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Direct Care Worker (DCW) preferred, if not already certified, must be willing to obtain upon hire with our support
• Valid Drivers License and Car Insurance
• Pass a Criminal Background Check and Adult Protective Services
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
• Participate in in-service and continuing education programs, staffing meeting, and client conferences as requested by the immediate supervisor.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or similar positions is preferred but not required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Ability to work independently while adhering to established care plans.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities, including active listening, thoughtful questioning, and respectful communication. As well as social perceptiveness by being aware of other's reactions and understanding why they may react as they do.
• Proactive and compassionate, consistently seeking ways to support and assist others.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Job Types: Part-time Variable

Pay Range: $16.00

Schedule:

• Shifts ranges from 2 to 12 hours
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays - Double Pay

Working Environment:

Client home setting and automobile.
