Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Grooming & Hygiene

• Mobility Assistance including using transfer aids (hoyer lifts, gait belts, etc.)

• Transferring & Positioning

• Toileting & Incontinence CareMeal Preparation & Cooking

• Light Housekeeping & Laundry

• Grocery Shopping/Errands/Transportation

• Medication Reminders

• Working with Dementia/Alzheimer’s Clients’

Caregiver Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. High level visual and hearing acuity and verbal communication required.

• Applicants must be bondable and meet or exceed minimum qualifications for criminal background investigation and motor vehicle driving record.

• Permission to submit to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and post accident drug and alcohol testing

• Must have valid Driver’s License

• Must have reliable transportation and fulfill assignments with reliability and punctuality

• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision

• Empathy for the needs of the client

• Treat clients, families, staff, and the public with courtesy and respect; presents a positive public image

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information
