Comfort Keepers is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated Care Supervisor to help us recruit, hire, train, develop, and support an exceptional team of caregivers.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with people, developing employees, solving problems, and ensuring clients receive outstanding care. The Care Supervisor works closely with our Director of Client Care and Human Resource, scheduling team, and administrative staff to ensure caregivers are prepared, supported, and successful.
What You'll Do
Recruit & Hire Great Caregivers
- Recruit and maintain a pipeline of qualified caregiver candidates.
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
- Participate in job fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach.
- Work with the team to anticipate staffing needs as our client base grows.
Train & Develop Caregivers
- Conduct new caregiver orientation and training.
- Ensure caregivers are prepared and confident before beginning client assignments.
- Coordinate ongoing education, skills training, and competency evaluations.
- Identify individual training needs and provide additional coaching and support.
Lead & Support the Caregiving Team
- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and feedback to caregivers.
- Conduct field supervisory visits in clients' homes.
- Help caregivers problem-solve challenges they encounter in the field.
- Conduct performance reviews and address performance concerns when necessary.
- Recognize outstanding performance and help caregivers grow professionally.
Ensure Exceptional Client Care
- Monitor the quality and consistency of care provided to clients.
- Ensure caregivers understand and follow each client's Plan of Care.
- Conduct client and caregiver supervisory visits.
- Assist with client assessments and reassessments as needed.
- Identify changes in client needs and communicate them promptly to the care management team.
- Help resolve client and caregiver concerns before they become larger issues.
Build an Engaged Caregiver Team
- Develop positive, professional relationships with caregivers.
- Help create an environment where caregivers feel valued, supported, and accountable.
- Support caregiver recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with scheduling to create successful caregiver/client matches.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in home care, healthcare, caregiving, recruiting, employee supervision, or a related service industry.
- Previous experience recruiting, interviewing, training, coaching, or supervising employees strongly preferred.
- Direct caregiving experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable providing both positive feedback and constructive coaching.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
A college degree is not required. We value relevant experience, leadership ability, sound judgment, and a demonstrated ability to develop people.

Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time salaried position
- $60,000–$70,000 annually (this range is including a monthly bonus), depending on experience and qualifications
- Primarily Monday–Friday with flexibility as needed to support caregivers and clients
- Travel to client homes throughout our service area in a company vehicle.
- Participation in on-call scheduling responsibilities may be required when short staffed.
