What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Overnights 11pm-7am position at Comfort Keepers of St. Cloud, MN?
Comfort Keepers® caregivers travel to clients’ homes to support adults with personal cares and light housekeeping. Ask about our FREE CNA classes.
11pm-7am awake overnights, includes every other weekend. Must be able to be mandated for day shift if replacement doesn't show. Part Time and Full Time Available.
The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20/hour for CNAs. After 5 months of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification.
Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
- Meal planning, cooking and baking
- Conversation and companionship
- Interactive Caregiving
- Errands and transportation
- Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living
- Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
- Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment
- Assistance with medication
- Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
- Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation, personal vehicle required throughout your work day
- Driver's License
- 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Proof of Auto Insurance with your name listed as authorized driver
- High School Diploma or GED
- State and Federal background check and fingerprinting
- Help both male and female clients with personal cares
- Lift 50 pounds safely
- Work history that shows excellent attendance
- Work history that show job retention
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
