Position Summary
As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide non-medical in-home support to seniors and adults needing assistance with daily living activities. Caregivers play a vital role in improving clients’ quality of life while maintaining dignity, safety, and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with medication reminders
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate daily documentation
- Follow client care plans and company policies
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous caregiving, CNA, HHA, or home care experience required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
