Live-in Home Caregiver

Comfort Keepers of Easton is looking to add a couple of experienced Caregivers and CNAs to our team to help support our growing client needs throughout Kent Island, Centreville, and surrounding areas.

We are specifically looking for dependable caregivers who have experience working in both home healthcare and facility settings and are interested in building a full-time schedule.

Current Hours Available

We currently have client needs between:

6:00 AM – 9:00 PM

There are no overnight shifts available at this time.

Schedules may consist of different client assignments throughout the day based on your availability, location, experience, and current client needs.

We are looking for applicants with strong daytime and/or evening availability who are comfortable working with multiple clients when needed.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidates:

• Have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Have experience in a home healthcare setting
• Have experience in a facility setting, such as assisted living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or similar environments
• Have experience with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Are comfortable with mobility and transfer assistance
• Are dependable, punctual, and professional
• Can maintain consistent availability
• Are comfortable traveling throughout the Kent Island and Centreville areas
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the office
• Are comfortable adapting to different clients and levels of care

CNA certification is preferred and may be required for certain client assignments.

Responsibilities

Depending on the client's individual Plan of Care, responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and ADL assistance
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Companionship
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Transportation and errands when applicable
• Observing and reporting changes in client condition
• Completing required daily documentation

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check
• Reliable availability between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM
• Willingness to travel throughout the Kent Island/Centreville area
