What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Female Caregiver position at Comfort Keepers 581?
Comfort Keepers is now hiring for a female caregiver for overnight shifts in the Baxter Area. Part-time or full-time depending on availability, e/o weekend required. Must be able to be mandated if morning caregiver doesn't show.
Responsibilities:
- Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living
- Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
- Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
- Meal planning, cooking and baking
- Conversation and companionship
- Interactive Caregiving
- Errands and transportation
- Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment
- Assistance with medication
- Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
- Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares
Requirements:
- Must be available every other weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Overnight shift is 11pm - 7am and is an awake position
- Must be able to stay 7am-3pm if your replacement calls off
- May not have another due to mandate policy
- Must have superior attendance record to avoid mandating others
- Must be willing to work in homes with dogs
- CNA with 12 months facility experience strongly preferred
- Must have own car to drive to client home and use during your shifts
- Willing to drive 30 mile radius of the office.
- Schedule varies and changes with clients needs.
- 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving
- DHS and driving record background clearance
- Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.
