Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
• Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, floor care, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal
• Follow safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling procedures to ensure safe use of cleaning agents
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks when moving furniture or cleaning supplies
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with hotel housekeeping management guidelines
• Respond promptly to guest requests or special cleaning instructions with excellent customer service skills
• Adhere to hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure environment for staff and guests

Requirements

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and extractors safely and efficiently
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Understanding of safety procedures related to chemical handling and use of safety data sheets (SDS)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment during peak seasons while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
