Full Time Night Auditor

Job Summary:

As our Full-Time Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours. This crucial role involves balancing accounts, preparing daily reports, and providing exceptional service to our overnight guests. You will be the main point of contact during this time, ensuring guest needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-of-day auditing procedures, including reconciling guest accounts, processing payments, and verifying daily transactions.
• Prepare daily financial reports and ensure accuracy of all postings.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously during the night shift.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Make reservations and assist guests with booking inquiries.
• Maintain a secure and safe environment for guests and the hotel.
• Perform light housekeeping or setup duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with other hotel departments regarding any issues or important information.
• Follow all Choice Hotels brand standards and hotel policies.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, following established procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Flexibility to work full-time hours, including both weekdays and weekends (specific schedule will be discussed during the interview).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Overnight shifts (typically 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
