Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure hygiene and cleanliness.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to preserve flooring quality and appearance.
• Manage janitorial responsibilities by restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed consistently.
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including cleaning outdoor areas, patios, or walkways to uphold overall property presentation.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment during deep cleaning or moving tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to residents’ or guests’ requests and ensuring their satisfaction with cleanliness standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments; hotel or janitorial experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and floor care techniques to maintain hygienic spaces.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy items or performing repetitive cleaning motions.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude toward residents and visitors.
• Competence in laundry operations and managing housekeeping management systems if applicable.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas; familiarity with custodial equipment is beneficial.
