Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
• Perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, buffing, and deep cleaning of various flooring types to preserve their appearance and safety.
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products efficiently while adhering to inventory standards.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff alike.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold property standards.
• Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing as needed.
• Support the housekeeping management team in training new staff members and maintaining operational efficiency during shifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards required for hospitality environments.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and floor polishers.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards at all times.
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects safely, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
