Facility Maintenance Comfort Inn & Suites – Sturbridge, MAFull-Time / Part-Time | 30–40 Hours Per WeekPosition OverviewComfort Inn & Suites in Sturbridge is seeking a dependable, hands-on Facility Maintenance team member to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our hotel property. This role is essential to ensuring our guest rooms, public areas, and building systems remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.This is a year-round position offering 30–40 hours per week based on hotel occupancy and operational needs.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs throughout the propertyComplete minor electrical work including replacing switches, outlets, lighting, and fixturesPerform plumbing repairs including toilets, sinks, drains, supply lines, and fixturesComplete drywall, sheetrock, and painting repairs as neededTroubleshoot basic HVAC issues and perform preventative maintenance tasksAssist with pool and spa maintenance and equipment monitoringReplace light bulbs and maintain lighting in guest rooms and common areasRepair flooring, ceilings, walls, doors, and hardwareRespond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and managementAssist with exterior maintenance, including snow removal when necessaryIdentify maintenance concerns and report preventative maintenance needsFollow all safety procedures and hotel standardsQualificationsPrevious facility maintenance, hotel maintenance, or building maintenance experience preferredBasic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairsAbility to work independently and manage daily prioritiesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and safely use laddersReliable, dependable, and detail-orientedWeekend availability as neededSchedule30–40 hours per weekFlexible schedule based on hotel needsYear-round employment
