Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities. Your dedication to cleanliness and hospitality will ensure our guests experience a welcoming atmosphere from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning using industrial cleaning equipment.
- Follow established safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management for prompt resolution.
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation standards, guest privacy, and security protocols.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to support overall hotel operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred.
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service excellence is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
