The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, dried, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role supports housekeeping operations and helps maintain a clean, comfortable experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press hotel linens and guest laundry
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines
- Inspect linens and clothing for stains, damage, or wear and report issues
- Apply appropriate cleaning chemicals and detergents safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Track and manage laundry inventory (linens, towels, uniforms, etc.)
- Respond to guest laundry requests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate laundry machinery and handle cleaning chemicals
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
