POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is guest experience maker position responsible for operating the hotel’s property management system; handling sales, making reservations, and check-in/check- out in accordance with Company standards while coordinating with heart of the house staff for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, with safety and security.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Attend the front desk at all times
- Smile, acknowledge, and greet guests at front desk and other public areas.
- Complete and verify all audit paperwork, shift reports and checklists. \
- Rent hotel guest room, sales skills are very helpful
- Process all financial transactions, including the verification and processing of credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Process guest registrations, including the computation and collection of payment.
- Complete shift reports and process all financial transactions, including the verification and processing of credit card transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Be able to perform all duties on GSA To Do Check List
- Maintain room status inventory.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel services, reservations, attractions, directions, etc. in a gracious and courteous tone.
- Send and receive telephone calls and fax; sort incoming mail and messages.
- Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints as needed with courtesy.
- Process guest invocations of 100% satisfaction guarantee.
- Assist other employees in various assignments, to include assisting with breakfast, laundry, or any housekeeping duties.
- Perform work duties in accordance with Company safety and security policies and procedures.
