Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms, ensuring they are inviting and well-kept at all times.
• Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing to uphold a polished appearance across all areas.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, linens, and amenities to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently.
• Follow established safety and cleaning protocols using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to facilitate quick resolution and uphold quality standards.
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of storage closets, laundry areas, and janitorial supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles preferred; hospitality experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards guest comfort and safety.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, bend, stretch, and perform repetitive tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial practices is advantageous.
• Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for teamwork and continuous improvement is essential.
