What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper/ Cleaner position at Comfort Inn & Suites/MainStay Suites?
1st Shift only: 8am start time - 3pm (flexible end time)
Hotel Housekeeper Job Responsibilities:
- Clean departed guestrooms: strip all trash, used linen, and used terry. Wipe down and sanitize entire guestroom and bathroom. Make beds with clean linen. Replace used amenities. Vacuum guest room.
- [Up to 16 checkouts daily- max 30 minute clean per room]
- Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
- Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
- Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
- Reports necessary maintenance items.
- Follows departmental policies and procedures.
- Follows all safety and sanitation policies
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
Job Types: Part-time 16 hours / FULL-TIME 30 hours
Flexible daily schedule offered.
PAY RATE : $ 15.00 /hour
Pay: $15.00 per hour
