What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Breakfast Attendant position at Comfort Inn & Suites/Holiday Inn Express?
GREAT FOR EARLY RISERS WHO WANT TO HAVE THE REST OF THEIR DAY FREE FOR OTHER THINGS. SHIFTS VARY STARTING FROM 6AM. 5 HOUR SHIFTS.-3 DAYS A WEEK. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS AS NEEDED.
ADDITIONAL HOURS MAY BE AVAILABLE IN OTHER DEPARTMENTS AND CAN BE DISCUSSED DURING INTERVIEW
· Greet each and every guest as they enter the breakfast area
· Prepare food and beverage as directed
· Monitor chafing dishes and trays to ensure the appropriate amount of food is available
· Monitor tables for dirty dishes
· Clean and service assigned areas (wash dishes, clean equipment, wipe down counter tops, tidy kitchen area, remove garbage, wipe down tables/chairs/highchairs, mop floors)
Replenish coffee stations along with creamers, sugars, milk, stirs, napkins, cups, etc.
· Inform Management when inventory is low on food, beverage or other items
· Document and report to supervisor if any of the equipment is in need of repair or damage has been done
· Follow established safety and health procedures at all times
· Respond to guest complaints, special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction
· Monitor and control supplies to minimize waste within all areas of the department
· May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects
· May assist with other duties as assigned
