Lead Breakfast Attendant

This is a early morning shift from 5am-10am. We are looking for someone to work this shift 5 days a week.

· The Breakfast Staff employee is responsible for preparing the Comfort Inn & Suites complimentary breakfast for hotel guests while greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with the hotel’s food preparation and customer service standards.

· The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for guest satisfaction with the goal of each guest getting exactly what they want in a friendly and genuine manner.

· Complete guest satisfaction is the single most important function.

· Offers help and assistance to guests in a gracious and timely manner making them feel welcome.

· Flawlessly and efficiently prepare, present, service and replenish the Comfort Inn & Suites complimentary breakfast for all guests staying on property between the hours of Monday – Sunday 6:30am – 9:30am in accordance with the Comfort Inn & Suites standards for quality and presentation.

· Prepare specialty foods such as scrambled eggs, baked goods, bacon, sausage, fresh brewed coffee, juices, hot cereals, & waffle mix following specific recipes and methods that usually require short preparation time.

· Maintain a clean, safe and productive kitchen environment that adheres to the Comfort Inn & Suites policies and all applicable State Health codes.

· Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.

· Operate cooking equipment such as oven, microwave, refrigerators, and dishwashing equipment.

· Provide creative input on meal presentation, setup and themed displays to enhance the meal experience and guest satisfaction.

· Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, use a positive, clear speaking voice, listen attentively to understand guest requests, respond with appropriate action, and provide accurate information about our local area such as points of interest, places to shop and eat, etc.

· Maintain inventory control procedures by evaluating food and beverage needs for current and future demands.

· Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking of food and supply deliveries.

· Maintain a clean and safe dining room environment, bussing, and cleaning tables as soon as guests are finished with their meal.

· Able to lift 20lbs or more.

· Complete side work duties and any deep clean projects throughout your shift during slow periods.

· Be in proper uniform and proper frame of mind to successfully wait on customers and perform their duties.

· Assist in cleaning public restrooms and other public areas on a daily basis in accordance to the Comfort Inn & Suites cleaning standards.

· Perform other cleaning and service assignments as needed.

· Provide labor assistance in other departments as needed and requested.

· Familiarity with Choice and Comfort Inn & Suites standards and requirements along with ongoing training.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
