Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. Prior experience in hospitality, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred, but we also welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Perform deep cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, window washing, and furniture polishing as needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans during off-peak hours
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with hotel operations or hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues effectively
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping management is advantageous but not required
