What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Engineer- Part-Time position at Comfort Inn & Suites Chestertown?
We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe.

Compensation:$17 per hour
Responsibilities:- Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks
- Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
- Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
- Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans
- Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
- Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
- Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance
- Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
- You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have own tools
