Job Description
Comfort inn & Suites Asheboro, North Carolina is looking for a friendly, motivated, and hard-working Front Desk Agent to join our team. The Front Desk Agent will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform well in a team environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls and emails from guests, vendors, and other company associates
- Filing documents
- Processing payments via credit cards or checks
- Answering questions from guests about the hotel services and amenities
- Providing friendly and professional customer service to guests and vendors
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Additional front desk–related duties include:
- Greeting and checking guests in and out in a professional and welcoming manner
- Verifying guest information, reservations, and payment methods during check-in
- Communicating with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest issues are addressed
- Monitoring room availability and updating reservations in the hotel property management system
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
- Following hotel policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards when handling guest information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
