Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
- Maintain floor care by performing carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and other specialized cleaning tasks to preserve flooring quality.
- Manage outdoor work related to cleaning patios, balconies, or outdoor furniture as needed.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture during deep cleans or rearrangements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, and sanitation standards required for effective housekeeping.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, carpet cleaning tools, and janitorial supplies.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled appointments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning tasks or yard maintenance when necessary.
