Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Houseperson team member to support our housekeeping operations and ensure the hotel remains spotless and well-maintained. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- trash removal, public areas
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor repairs, and reporting larger issues to maintenance teams
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and other common areas to ensure a pristine environment
- Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, , and carpet cleaning as needed
- Support cleaning tasks when required to uphold health and safety standards
- Ensure all janitorial supplies are stocked and properly stored for efficient operations
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred
- Experience working in hotels or hospitality environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to perform light maintenance tasks safely and effectively
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward guest service and property upkeep
