Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on PTAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facilities equipment
- Carpentry, painting (including maintenance painting), and other repair tasks to uphold the hotel’s aesthetic standards and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or issues related to facilities maintenance, providing excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
- Conduct daily perimeter walks on the exterior of the building paying close attention to any aspect that made need repair or improvement. Tasks may include trash pick up, grounds maintenance and cleaning.
Experience
- Experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or residential settings is definitely a plus.
- Knowledge of PTAC system repair and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair including pipe fitting, leak detection, and fixture repairs.
- Knowledge of simple carpentry repair, maintenance painting, and general building interior/exterior upkeep.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks efficiently across teams and departments.
